Vintage Levi's with a distressed design crafted for the ultimate comfort in a slim/straight style. With more room throughout the thighs, the leg narrows from knee to ankle. One of a kind blue-green shade with customized handmade distressed ripping, denim patchwork, and embroidery stitching.

JP (designer) describes the process; 

• Started off with a classic 501 Levis which we then sent to an industrial laundry to create that military green color, which is finally obtained with the second phase of decolorization (the garment is rewashed among rags and other clothes in order for the color to reach its perfect state).

• Then we started with a process of grinding to set the stage for the ripping. Each pair has its own grinding process which is different for each one since it’s done by hand. 

• Once the ripping is done, the garment goes into another phase of washing in order for the threads and rips to set.

• Once the rips are done, we started the selection of patches to apply. On this piece, we went for a mix of unwashed, one-wash and washed canvases.

• The writings are first drawn by hand and sewn with a “traditional” sewing machine. This is called a “travetta” embroidery (bartack), which is the same kind of embroidery used for reinforcing areas of stress on a garment, such as pocket openings, bottom of a fly opening or buttonholes. 

• The bottom of the garment has also been reconstructed to make it tighter (501 models usually come with a larger bottom).
