Strappo is a classic blue shade Levi's trucker silhouette, handcrafted from a distressed vintage wash. The reconstructed piece features a distinct ripped detailing all throughout the body of the jacket and red embroidery pattern stitching outlining the rips.
JP (designer) describes the process;
- The Strappo jacket features a grinding process followed by the application of LEvis 501 light-colored canvases underneath the ripping.
- After the ripping, we hand-stitched around the shapes.
- Applying this kind of patchwork and ripping on the arm of a jacket like this requires a specific machine and skill set which are proper for denim and leather repairing.
